Michael E. Marszalkowski is Special Counsel for the law firm of Damon Morey LLP where he chairs the firm’s Immigration Practice Group.
Mr. Marszalkowski has been providing a full range of immigration services to his clients for the past 24 years. This includes business immigration matters, immigrant visas, labor certification, physician waivers, national interest cases, and family unification. He provides his services to professionals in the information technology industry, physicians and medical professionals, multi-national executives, professional athletes and coaches. He regularly appears in Immigration Court handling removal matters and asylum cases. He is known for creative solutions of complex cases.
Mr. Marszalkowski has developed an international reputation for expertise in entertainment related matters. His clients include recording artists, award winning directors and cameramen in the film and television industry, producers and engineers in the recording industry, and production, sound and lighting companies in the entertainment industry.
He has earned the highest rating (AV) with Martindale-Hubbell for both legal ability and ethics and has received several other peer honors including being named to the 2009 Upstate New York's "Super Lawyers." Mr. Marszalkowski has provided attorney training for the Erie County Bar Association, Volunteer Lawyers Project and other organizations. He regularly speaks on immigration topics at seminars and conferences.
Mr. Marszalkowski has organized and advised numerous multi-national companies in business, immigration and entertainment matters. He works with corporate counsel and accountants to create an integrated business plan and to pursue new business opportunities throughout the United States. Mr. Marszalkowski is an advisor to the annual Buffalo Niagara Film Festival, the Bridges television network and several musicians, actors and independent film directors and writers.
A frequent presenter, Mr. Marszalkowski recently
presented Interplay of Criminal, Immigration and Malpractice Law in Representation of Non-U.S. Citizens, a seminar for the Erie County Bar Association.

- May 5 and May 6, 2009, Mr. Marszalkowski moderated two panels for the third annual Buffalo Niagara Film Festival. The first panel dealt with legal and financing issues for film; the second was a panel on animation and film, presented by film industry professionals from Buffalo and Los Angeles.
- April 29, 2009, Mr. Marszalkowski spoke about cross-border issues to the Ontario Insurance Adjusters Association in St. Catharines.
- Mr. Marszalkowski spoke on comprehensive immigration reform and social justice issues to concerned citizens at St. Katherine Drexel Parish in January, 2009 and at St. Joseph University Parish in March, 2009.
