Mr. Appelbaum is a Partner at Damon Morey practicing in the Litigation Department. Mr. Appelbaum has experience as a trial attorney in the State, Federal and Appellate Courts in defense of matters involving personal injury, sports and recreation, products liability and trucking litigation. Mr. Appelbaum’s diverse background also includes criminal defense and an ongoing commercial litigation practice.
Mr. Appelbaum received his B.A. degree from Hobart College and his J.D. degree, cum laude from Quinnipiac University School of Law, where he served as Editor of Quinnipiac Law Review. He is admitted to practice in the State and Federal Courts of both New York and Connecticut. Mr. Appelbaum’s professional memberships include the Erie County Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association and the Trial Lawyers of America. He is also the Chair of the firm's Recruitment Committee.
Born and raised in Western New York, Mr. Appelbaum is a graduate of Canisius High School. He is active in a number of charitable and civic organizations and is a current member of the Sisters Hospital Foundation’s Board of Directors. Mr. Appelbaum lives in the City of Buffalo with his wife, daughter and twin sons.
