Mr. Cashmore is a Senior Partner at Damon
& Morey practicing in the firm’s Business
and Corporate Department. Mr. Cashmore’s focus includes municipal bond transactions (including
representation of issuers and underwriters), representation of banking
and financial institutions and borrowers and lenders in commercial, IDA,
SBA, affordable housing and project finance transactions (including
low-income housing tax credit projects), municipal bond transactions,
representation of businesses in regulated industries such as financial
services and health care, mergers and acquisitions, and securities law
(including preparation of offering circulars and related materials for
private placements, counseling of public companies on compliance with
1933 Act registration statements and 1934 Act reporting requirements,
and blue sky law analysis and compliance). Mr. Cashmore also provides
general advice and consultation to business enterprises on contract
matters, corporate governance issues, succession planning and day-to-day
operations.
While attending the State University of New York at Buffalo School
of Law, he was Senior Editor of the Buffalo Law Review.
Mr. Cashmore is a member of the Business Law Section of the New York
State Bar Association. He is a member of the Erie County Bar Association
and its Banking and Corporations Law Committees. He served as
Chairperson of the Banking Law Committee from 1994 to 1996, and
Chairperson of the By-laws Committee from 1990-1994.
