Mr. Heller is a Partner at Damon & Morey LLP,
practicing in the firm's Business
Litigation and Insolvency Department. In his more than 28 years of
experience, he has assisted clients in matters involving consumer and
commercial collections, loan workouts, Article 9 transactions, mortgage
foreclosure, landlord and tenant matters, representation of secured and
unsecured creditors in bankruptcy cases, and litigation involving real
property.
Following law school, he served for four and one-half years as an
assistant district attorney for Erie County, New York, and as an
assistant corporation counsel for the City of Buffalo.
Mr. Heller is currently a member of the Erie County and New York State
Bar Associations. He is a frequent lecturer for the New York State Bar
Association and has authored seminar course materials for this
organization in the
areas of “Bankruptcy Proceedings as They Affect Mortgage Foreclosures”
and “Defenses to Acceleration and Lender Liability Concerns.” Mr. Heller
has also lectured for Lorman Education Services, the National Business
Institute and the Erie Institute of Law.
