Mr. Miller is Partner practicing in the firm’s Estate and Trust Department who is experienced in sophisticated estate planning involving such issues as closely held businesses, succession planning, medical practices, charitable remainder trusts, and life insurance trusts. He handles complex and basic estate administration including litigation in the Surrogate’s Courts involving such issues as will contests, contested estates settlements and spousal election and abandonment issues. Mr. Miller also handles the research and preparation of estate and gift tax returns as well as the preparation of wills and health care documents.

Mr. Miller is a member of the New York State Bar Trusts and Estates Section, the Erie County Bar Association Practice and Procedures in Surrogate’s Court Committee, and he is admitted to the courts of New York as well as the U.S. District Court, Western District of New York, and U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Western District of New York.

He received his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Buffalo State. He received both his M.A. in Economics and J.D. from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
