A Partner in the Litigation Department at Damon Morey LLP, Ms. Mooney focuses her practice on the defense of insured and self-insured corporations in a wide variety of personal injury matters at the trial and appellate level. Through the years, Ms. Mooney has gained significant experience defending corporations, individuals, municipalities, school districts and security companies in personal injury suits. This experience includes the defense of matters involving products liability, labor law violations, commercial disputes, civil rights violations and negligence claims. She has appellate and trial experience in New York State Supreme Court, United States District Court, Western and Northern Districts of New York and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. She is also admitted to the United States Bankruptcy Court.

Prior to joining Damon Morey LLP, Ms. Mooney served as an Assistant County Attorney for the County of Erie, where she was active in the defense of civil rights claims brought against this self-insured county government. During that time period, Ms. Mooney worked on the County’s prison overcrowding suit and its tobacco litigation.

Ms. Mooney has been recognized for her accomplishments in the field of law.
