Kathleen M. Reilly is a Partner at Damon Morey, LLP, practicing in the firm’s Litigation Department. She concentrates her practice in medical malpractice defense, nursing home risk management and litigation and general negligence litigation. She defends physicians, nurses, hospitals, and other medical professionals in litigation. She counsels and advises health care providers and nursing homes.
She also lectures on a variety of topics including: medical malpractice, nursing home litigation, confidentiality/privilege issues, risk management, peer review, quality assurance and HIPAA. Her recent seminar topics include Medical Malpractice Litigation and Depositions and The Importance of Documentation and Charting.
Ms. Reilly is admitted to state practice in New York and Massachusetts. She is also admitted to federal practice in the Western District of New York. She is a member of the Erie County Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association. She is also the Co-Chair of the firm's Paralegal Committee.
While at law school, Ms. Reilly earned Best Brief and Best Oralist awards during the 1989 Desmond Memorial Moot Court Competition. She also served as the Director of the Moot Court Board and was selected for membership in the Order of Barristers.
