Ms. Storr is a Senior Associate at Damon Morey LLP, practicing in the firm’s Business Litigation and Health Law practice groups.
Ms. Storr is admitted to practice in both state and federal courts in New York. She has handled complex business and commercial cases from pre-litigation stages through litigation and resolution involving contract disputes, Uniform Commercial Code issues, intellectual property/trade secret litigation and debtor/creditor matters. She has litigated cases in federal and state courts in New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and other states. Ms. Storr has assisted health care clients with regulatory issues, HIPAA compliance, patient privacy, subpoena issues, affiliation agreements, vendor agreements, software licensing agreements, collection matters and compliance matters.
Ms. Storr is a member of the Bar Association of Erie County, the New York State Bar Association (Business and Commercial Litigation Division; Health Law Division), the Women's Bar Association of Western New York, the Order of Barristers and the American Health Lawyers Association. She is Past President of the University of Buffalo Law School Alumni GOLD Group Board and remains involved with the Board. Ms. Storr currently serves as Director of the Rotary Club of Grand Island.
Ms. Storr received her B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Buffalo State College in 1983 and her J.D. degree, cum laude, from the State University of New York School of Law in 2006. While attending law school, Ms. Storr participated in the ABA's National Appellate Advocacy Competition in San Francisco, received 1st Place for Best Brief in the Desmond Moot Court Competition, and served as President of the Buffalo Moot Court Board. During the summer of 2004, Ms. Storr worked as a summer law clerk for Hon. John T. Elvin, United States District Court Judge in the Western District of New York.
Prior to joining Damon Morey, Ms. Storr was a secondary market mortgage loan purchaser for Empire of America Realty Credit Corp. and a community involvement specialist for Ecology and Environment, Inc. Additionally, Ms. Storr is an accomplished dancer, who owned and operated a school of dance for 13 years.
