Sharon A. Swift is an Associate at Damon Morey where she works in the Labor and Employment Department. She concentrates her practice in labor and employment law and litigation. Her experience includes matters involving discrimination, harassment, wrongful discharge, and unemployment issues. She also counsels clients on personnel policies and procedures and the interpretation of law, regulations and compliance issues.
Ms. Swift was Corporate Counsel for Manning and Napier Information Services, LLC, where she was responsible for all contracts and licensing and service agreements. Previously, she was an associate at Phillips, Lytle, LLP.
Ms. Swift serves as Vice-President and a Board Member of Literacy – New York. She is currently a Board Member and the former Board Chair of Literacy Volunteers of America for Buffalo and Erie County, Inc.
Ms. Swift received her B.S. in Economics from Canisius College 1982. She then went on to receive her M.B.A. in Marketing in 1984 and her J.D., magna cum laude, in 1994 from the State University of New York at Buffalo. While attending law school, she was the Book Review Editor for the Buffalo Law Review and the recipient of the Robert J. Connelly Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy.
Ms. Swift is a member of the Bar Association of Erie County, the American Bar Association, and the Society for Human Resource Management.
