Mr. Yungbluth is a Senior Partner at
Damon & Morey LLP, and Co-Chair of the firm’s
Corporate Department.
Mr. Yungbluth works primarily with local
corporate and other business clients and banking institutions. The
matters in which he is engaged include the formation of corporations,
limited liability companies and other business entities, business
start-ups, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, debt and equity
financing, and contract work of all kinds. In the area of banking law,
Mr. Yungbluth is primarily involved in the closing of commercial loan
transactions for both local and out-of-state lending institutions. In
the early 1990s he played a lead role in a special project on behalf of
the FDIC.
Mr. Yungbluth joined Damon & Morey as a partner in 1983 in conjunction
with the merger of the Diebold & Millonzi firm. There, he was engaged in
corporate and other business matters, with primary responsibility for
the corporate and securities work on behalf of a publicly owned
telecommunications company. He was also responsible for corporate,
regulatory and securities work on behalf of First Empire State
Corporation, the parent holding company of M&T Bank. He participated
extensively in the firm’s commercial lending and other banking work on
behalf of M&T Bank and the former Western Savings Bank.
Mr. Yungbluth is admitted to practice in both New York and the District
of Columbia. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the
Erie County Bar Association and the District of Columbia Bar
Association. Mr. Yungbluth is currently listed as one of
The
Best Lawyers in America© for Corporate Law by
Woodward White. Mr. Yungbluth has served on the Board of Directors or as an
officer for several local corporations, including The Automobile Club of
Western and Central New York, and EPIC Program, Inc. He is a former
member of the Board of Trustees of Canisius High School.
