Eric A. Bloom is Special Counsel at Damon Morey LLP, practicing in the Business Litigation and Insolvency Department. His practice is focused on construction litigation with an emphasis on subcontractors and suppliers. Mr. Bloom also has extensive experience with general business and commercial litigation. Additionally, his practice includes appellate work, real estate, trust and estates, bankruptcy, general litigation, mediation and arbitration. Mr. Bloom has acted as a neutral mediator and as an arbitrator in commercial disputes.
Mr. Bloom was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1981. He is also admitted to the United States District Courts for the Western District of New York, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of New York and all courts in the State of New York.
Since 1984, Mr. Bloom has been counsel to the Niagara Frontier Subcontractors Association and was awarded its Industry Leader of the Year Award in 2003.
Mr. Bloom is a frequent lecturer to construction industry organizations. He has also authored articles and presented numerous programs about construction law and mechanic’s lien.
Before joining Damon Morey, Mr. Bloom was a sole practitioner.
