David L. Principe is Special Counsel at Damon Morey LLP, practicing in the Corporate Department. His practice is focused in the areas of patent, trademark, and copyright law. He is Co-Chair of the Firm's Intellectual Property Law Practice Group..
Mr. Principe has experience in all areas of intellectual property. His practice includes preparing and prosecuting patent applications, drafting patentability opinions, drafting patent non-infringement opinions, drafting trademark clearance opinions, drafting and prosecuting trademark applications, drafting license agreements, counseling clients in patent, trademark and copyright matters, and assisting in due diligence for corporate mergers and acquisitions. In the patent area, Mr. Principe has extensive experience in the fields of material handling equipment, respiratory protective equipment, and medical devices.
Mr. Principe is admitted to practice in New York and Georgia. Additionally, he is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Mr. Principe is past president and a current member of the Niagara Frontier Intellectual Property Law Association. He is also a member of the Erie County Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
Before joining Damon Morey, Mr. Principe was a partner at a local law firm.
