Damon & Morey LLP is pleased to announce that John T. Kolaga has joined the firm as Special Counsel. Mr. Kolaga will serve as Chair of the Environmental Law Practice Group.
Mr. Kolaga is a member of the Bar Association of Erie County and the New York State Bar Association. He is admitted in the United States District Courts for the Western, Northern and Southern Districts of New York, the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of New York and the United States Court of Appeals, Second Circuit.
He is currently listed in Business First of Buffalo's "Who's Who in Law" for Environmental Law.
A frequent lecturer, Mr. Kolaga has made presentations on litigation and environmental law issues for bar associations, industry associations and schools. Active in the community, he currently serves as the President of the Elmwood Village Association.
Mr. Kolaga received his B.A. from Canisius College in 1982 and his J.D. from State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law in 1985. While attending law school, he served as an Articles Editor of the Buffalo Law Review.
