William Savino Presenting at National Business Institute Seminar


Buffalo, NY, January 19, 2012    -----     William Savino, a Partner and senior business litigation attorney at Damon Morey LLP will be speaking at a Bankruptcy Litigation Seminar hosted by the National Business Institute (NBI) on February 8, 2012. The seminar will be held at the Hyatt Regency Buffalo from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and is worth 7.0 Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits.

Mr. Savino will be presenting two sessions at this seminar. The first scheduled at 11:00 a.m. will focus on Adversary Proceedings – Discovery, Evidence, and Settlements discussing the differences between adversary actions and contested matters. The second scheduled at 2:30 p.m. will focus on Fraudulent Transfers including Actual Intent, Constructive, and Affirmative Defenses.

Mr. Savino is an instructor at the State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo where he teaches Business Law for the School of Management and Commercial Litigation for the School of Law. He is also a past nationwide president of the University at Buffalo Law Alumni Association. For five years, Mr. Savino co-authored the Commercial Law Committee update for the Syracuse Law Review. In 2011, he earned the designation as a Top 10 Upstate New York Attorney as named by Super Lawyers magazine. Mr. Savino was also named for a fourth time to the Top 50 Upstate New York Attorneys.
